Grandparent’s Group provides social connection and support for people who are preparing to be or who are the primary carer for their grandchild/ren.
Who is our Service for?
Any Grandparents that are:
Preparing to be the primary carer for their grandchild/ren aged zero to eighteen
Are the primary carer for their grandchild/ren aged zero to eighteen
Wanting to meet with other Grandparents in a similar situation
Needing advocacy, advice and support
Wanting to discuss issues
Wanting to receive peer support from experienced Grandparent volunteers
How do we work?
We focus on delivering support, education and social connection to Grandparents who are preparing to be or who are the primary carer for their grandchild/ren aged zero to 18 years.
What do we offer?
A monthly meeting that provides social connection, support and education to people who are facing varied and demanding challenges in their role as Grandparents.
